Dr Heike Henn is the Director for Climate, Energy and Environment at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Heike has worked at the BMZ in various positions since 2003, including as Coordinator of the German G8 Africa Personal Representative; Head of German Development Cooperation in Burundi and Rwanda; Head of Division of Special Initiative ONE WORLD – No Hunger; and Head of Division of ‘Policy issues of cooperation with civil Society, private organizations’. She has more than 20 years’ experience in the field of development policy, covering research, NGOs, and government.

Heike studied political science, economics and law.
